A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Great service especially to equl, pastry aunty and pabin. they treat me so nice. being there from 5pm till 930. the atmosphere is good. i can do my work peacefully. spacious. the pastry SO GOOD!! also the buttercream pasta. love it."
"Seven Oaks in Eco Botanic is a gem for pastry lovers. The first thing you'll notice is the nice atmosphere—it's cozy, elegant, and perfect for catching up with friends or getting some light work done. Pros: Their bread and bagels are genuinely good; the texture is spot on and they taste very fresh. Definitely some of the best in the area. Cons: I tried the chicken chop, but it was a bit oily for my liking, which was a slight letdown compared to the high quality of the bakery items. Overall, it’s a great spot for coffee and carbs, but maybe opt for something else if you're sensitive to oily foods!"
"All their pastries look so good. You can get the pastries from the bakery and have it served at the restaurant that serves interesting combi of mains. Out of the mains we tried, think only the aglio olio couldn’t make it (seems like it is cooked in chilli water, not garlic oil), the rest are nice - creamy salted egg pasta, assam laksa pasta, chilli egg croissant with soft shell crab. I find the cream-based cakes so-so only… just eat the croissant-based pastries, so buttery nice!"
"Overall a very positive experience. The aircon was blasting and my kids were feeling cold. So I asked if they could increase the temperature and they kindly did that for us. When recommending their pastries, one of them even went the extra mile to highlight that the tart may be a bit too sweet for my children and told me to get the other less sweet one. Thank you so much for your great service! Will be back again soon."
"Absolutely loved the croissants so flaky and buttery! Too many delicious options, everything looks amazing. The café is cozy and chill, perfect for work or a lazy afternoon. Can’t wait to try their meals next."
"This is a great place to cool off on a hot day, went with a big group of friends and the staff were nice enough to help us combine table without any prior notice. Didn’t get any food but went to get refreshments instead, tried the Yuzu osmanthus, sparking watermelon cucumber a the tiramisu cheese cake. Highly recommend the watermelon cucumber on a hot day, really refreshing and well mixed. Yuzu osmanthus was good too but the yuzu syrup had a hard time dissolving in the cold drink. The Tiramisu cheesecake was good for cooling off too, was made in a frappe style with the right amount of coffee flavour. Highly recommend this place if you wanna chill, would go back to try their mains."
"14 Dec 2025 We came back to get more cookies. The top pick from the family members was the Chocolate & Sea Salt cookies. We're glad to be able to find what we liked over a short weekend outing to ride at the inaugural OCBC Cycle JB 2025. ======= The burnt cheese cake was good."
"The place is fancy and the foods portion is massive!! The price is at a high range but since the portion is big, i think its worth it. Not a place to go daily but maybe if you wanted to reward yourself at the end of the month. My fried chicken chop is 6/10 due to its batter is a bit too much for my liking. The matcha range is 10/10!!!"
